Marking 30 years in business, Café Thirty-A, located at 3899 East County Hwy 30A, will once again host its beloved Christmas Charity Ball on Saturday, December 6, benefiting Caring and Sharing of South Walton.
In honor of former, longtime-owner, Harriet Crommelin, who passed away in 2023, this year’s event will be presented by Harriet Crommelin Honorary sponsors Coastal Luxury Real Estate, Earl Bacon Agency, and Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A.
From 6–10 p.m., the restaurant will be closed for the private soiree and transformed with festive holiday décor, courtesy of Palms 30A. Guests will be greeted upon arrival with complimentary valet, provided by All Access Coach and Leasing, and a glass of champagne to toast the evening, presented by Clear Title & Escrow LLC. There will also be a VIP party, courtesy of Keller Williams, for all sponsors.
Throughout the night, Café Thirty-A’s culinary team will be serving a variety of hors d’oeuvres, including hand-rolled sushi, as well as a dinner buffet featuring the restaurant’s signature fare. Guests will also indulge in a decadent dessert spread, sponsored by Haney Holloway, and sip on signature cocktails served from the cash bar, sponsored by All Access Coaching and Leasing.
Guests will have the opportunity to capture the moment in the Epic Photo Co. photo booth, courtesy of A BOHEME Design, and enjoy music by DJ Casey, sponsored by Maranta Copy Co. A special appearance by Santa, courtesy of Barnes Capital Group, will add to the evening’s festive atmosphere. Attendees are encouraged to wear evening attire, with black tie optional, for an elegant night of holiday celebration and community spirit as Café Thirty-A commemorates its 30th anniversary on 30A.

“David and I are incredibly honored and grateful to be able to host the Christmas Charity Ball again this year for Caring And Sharing,” said Café Thirty-A co-owner Jackie Maliszewski. “We hope to continue Harriet’s legacy for many years to come.”
The upstairs of the restaurant will be transformed into a festive lounge, courtesy of Engel & Völkers 30A Beaches, and will feature a live pearl station from Wendy Mignot to commemorate Café Thirty-A’s 30th anniversary, as the pearl is the traditional symbol of 30 years.
The evening will boast one of the area’s largest silent auctions featuring items from various local businesses, as well as a generous raffle package, with one hundred percent of the proceeds benefiting Caring and Sharing of South Walton’s efforts to provide food and financial assistance to local area families and individuals in need. In 2024, the annual Christmas Charity Ball raised a record-breaking $81,000 through ticket sales, donations, raffle tickets, and auction sales. For area businesses interested in silent auction donation, please contact Jessica Bracken at jessica@proffittpr.com.
Tickets are on sale for $150 in advance or $175 at the door, with one hundred percent of the ticket sales and auction proceeds benefiting Caring and Sharing of South Walton. These funds will go directly to providing neighbors in need with access to food, financial assistance, counseling, case management, and connection to other community resources.
