Green Thumb

Green Thumb Garden Club is deeply grateful for the largest turnout of Walton County residents and visitors for their fifth annual Holiday Bazaar.  The record donations will increase funding for 2026 scholarships, local non-profit organizations and community projects.

Special thanks to the very dedicated Green Thumb members and volunteers who made the Bazaar an unprecedented success by contributing their time and talent to the event over many months.

During the last month of 2025, Walton County Sheriff’s Santa Patrol will receive gifts and gift cards for young children and teenagers at the GTGC Holiday Luncheon on December 10, 2025, at Bricktop’s Grand Boulevard.

The Club has chosen a well-deserving Walton County family as their 2025 Habitat holiday family.  The family will receive monetary donations and gifts to help ensure a great holiday season for everyone.  The donations will be delivered to the family in mid-December.

The 70-year anniversary of the Green Thumb Garden Club’s founding will be celebrated in January 2026 with a member program and luncheon.  Plans will be announced soon as well as the 2026 scholarship application details.
