Camp Helen State Park: Guided Kayak Eco Tour Tuesday, July 12, 9:00 am Join Camp Helen State Park staff for a Guided Kayak Eco Tour on Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in North America. Must be 12 years of age or older and able to independently navigate your own kayak. Reservations are required – call the park at 850-233-5059. Tours begin promptly at 9:00 AM, meet in the Visitor Center. Cash only fee is $30 and includes park entry, watercraft rental, life jacket, paddle, and a donation to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park. Turtle Talk Tuesday Tuesday, July 12, 19 & 26, 9:00 am to 10:00 am Join South Walton Turtle Watch on Tuesday mornings in the park across from Amavida in Rosemary Beach for Turtle Talk Tuesday. Sounds Like Summer Series Each Thursday at Watersound Town Center

The Sounds Like Summer Arts & Culture series at Watersound Town Center is scheduled for June 2 – August 18, including plays, music, movies and more – with three nights set to feature artists from the annual 30A Songwriters Festival. Enjoy a different children’s play every month from The Seaside REP or movie nights featuring classic films and new family favorites. The 30A Songwriters Festival concert nights will feature nationally known artists like Shawn Mullins Trio and The Honeycutters. With ample parking, a covered pavilion, and even ceiling fans – the Pavilion at Watersound Town Center is quickly becoming South Walton’s destination for outdoor events. Camp Helen State Park: Movies & S’mores Series Thursday, July 14, 7:00 pm Join Friends of Camp Helen State Park at the annual Movies & S’mores series, an evening filled with movies, food and fun held at Camp Helen State Park Recreation Hall. Camp Helen will feature a different movie every other Thursday, July 14 and 21. The evenings begin at 7:00 pm with music, hula hoops, crafts and a new interpretive program each week. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. Complimentary hotdogs, chips, water, and s’mores will be provided by the FOCH. This event is FREE and open to the public. Beginning at 8:30 AM, races will be held every other Friday in June and July at the BoatHouse Paddle Club in Watercolor. These are informal, fun, family friendly events.
