The end of a successful school year is coming into view! Students, teachers, and employees have returned from Spring Break rejuvenated and motivated! Spring is the season our students begin to show what they have learned. Parents, as these days approach, we encourage you to help your child perform their best on State and District assessments by sending them to school well-rested and nourished with a healthy breakfast.

Russell Hughes spent time advocating for the Walton County School District interacting with state officials to ensure WCSD has a voice in planning and strategizing at the state level.
The Florida School Board Association’s Day in the Legislature provides a platform for Florida school board members to collaborate, learn, and workshop to communicate with legislators effectively. During this session of FSBA, Superintendent Hughes and board members were given time with Senator Jay Trumbull and Representative Shane Abbott to discuss the incredible growth and enhancement happening in the Walton County School District.
