The Walton County Democratic Women’s Club gathered at member Karen McGee’s home on Sunday, Dec. 10 stepping out of the usual mode in the spirit of the season. The holiday spirit abounded with delicious treats and chatter. In the spirit of giving, many items were donated to A Bed For Me. This organization provides bedding for children ages 2 to 12 in the realization that sleep plays a critical role in a child’s development, mentally and physically. The WCDWC donated bedding, cash and gift cards. The WCDWC is made up of women from the north and south end of Walton County. They strive to live up to their motto, “Together, we make a difference.”
