Stargazing @ Eden Gardens State Park Sept. 11
The Northwest Florida Astronomy Association hosts Stargazing on the Lawn from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Meet between the historic Wesley House and fountain. The event is free and open to the public with a park entry fee of $4 per vehicle. Normal celestial gazing includes bright galaxies, star clusters and planets. Event is weather permitting. Guests are encouraged to bring their own telescopes, wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring bug repellent. If you bring a flashlight, use a red filter to minimize the effect on night vision.
