On Columbus Day, Monday, October 12, the Knights of Columbus Council 17689 out of Saint Rita Catholic Church in Santa Rosa Beach will host their Third Annual Charity Golf Tournament at The Links at Sandestin. Once again, this fun-filled event will generate funds for its three Emerald Coast-based Mission Partners: Healing Paws for Warriors, Point Washington Medical Clinic and Caring & Sharing of South Walton.
The tournament is accepting both Foursomes ($600) and Single Players ($150) and has sold out each of the first two years. Sponsorships are available and many include playing spots. The Silent Auction is virtual and is live for seven days around the golf tournament date. All those who sponsor or offer auction items are featured on the event’s official website for an entire year!
Over $80,000 in net proceeds have been presented to our three charities from our first two years. And the event offers comp beverages, food stations on-course, post-event Happy Hour and snacks, on-course contests on all par 3s, including a $10,000 Hole-in-One prize FOR ANY player who makes an ace on Number 12.
