The Christian Capitalist movement is based on hard work and generous giving to the poor needy in the name of Jesus Christ. Travis Kring, in his recent appearance on our podcast, reminds us all that any one of us can become needy in the blink of an eye.
At Phoenix Restoration Services, Travis finds that his daily routine involves meeting with people who may have just experienced a once-in-a-lifetime crisis. Whether it is through flood, fire or wind, when people have damage or destruction to their homes or businesses, they often have their worlds turned upside down and become needy in a matter of minutes. Travis meets them where they are to provide logistical, and often (more importantly) spiritual support after a disaster. He has found that people are often most in need of spiritual encouragement during these times of crisis, and he takes those opportunities to shine the light of Christ to people who are often in their darkest hours.
Travis has only been in this business for a few years, but this vocation allows him to develop ties in the community and bonds of trust, so that people know they can call him when they are most in need. That includes active work in church, building ties in business through various networking events, and a strong commitment to physical fitness activities.

Travis has started a new exercise group that meets on the beach off 30A, and it has become literally an overnight success! Simply by getting people together to work out on the beach at their maximum effort, often as the sun is rising, he’s helping them recognize that, if they can handle that heavy lift that early in the morning, then the rest of the day (and its challenges) often seem much lighter. “Every Wednesday morning, we meet on the beach to train our bodies, strengthen our Faith, and sharpen one another as men. We sweat. We pray. We push. We encourage. We become better Fathers, Husbands, Leaders, and Followers of Jesus!”
Whether it’s in church, in a business meeting, or in the gym, Travis is quick to tell folks about his philosophy of what he describes as the Four F’s – faith, family, fitness and finances. When each one of those four areas of life is focused on God and in balance, people find peace in their lives and are in a better position to do God’s will. As a strong Christian Capitalist, Travis recognizes that means serving others with the blessings that God has given him. Through his servant leadership to others all around the Emerald coast, Travis has built a foundation to for spreading the Gospel through for the Four F’s!
Travis recently appeared on the Christian Capitalist podcast, and you can listen to the entire episode on SOWAL Life’s website. We are excited to share inspirational stories of hard work and generous giving to the poor and needy in the name of Jesus Christ, like Travis Kring!
