The Democratic Women’s Club of Walton County thanks you for your article in the April issue of South Walton Life on Fisher House, the residential facility for families of veterans and active-duty military personnel receiving medical treatment in this area. Thanks to your article, our club invited Fisher House’s Director, Mia Hughes, to be our guest speaker at our May 12 meeting on zoom. Our hope is to learn more about the services Fisher House provides and how our club might be able to help.
We appreciate you enlightening us about this valuable resource to military personnel, veterans and their families!
