The Democratic Women’s Club of Walton County will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 22 from 5:30-7:30pm at the Coastal Branch Library.
Veronica Durling, Democratic Women’s Club of Walton County LGBTQ+ outreach coordinator will present an overview of Florida legislation affecting the LGBTQ + community.
A review of local resources for LGBTQ + community members, friends and family will be presented. An open discussion on initiatives the club can take to improve communication, education and support for the LGBTQ + community in Walton County will follow the presentation.
