Fresh off their sold-out performances at the Edinburgh Fringe, award-winning international artists Gavin Robertson and Nicholas Collett are set to light up The REP Theatre’s new season with the Fall Play Series. From literary legends to iconic characters, the Fall Play Series features the likes of James Bond, Frankenstein, and William Shakespeare in an entertaining lineup of plays sure to leave audiences on the edge of their seat.

Frankenstein: The 3D Podcast headlines the Fall Play Series with its world premiere of the boldly reimagined radio-style play complete with comedic interludes and the witty dialogue audiences have come to love about The REP. Created and performed by Gavin Robertson, Nicholas Collett, and REP Executive Director Brook Stetler, Frankenstein: The 3D Podcast takes audiences on a wild and comedic ride as the gothic tale unfolds in this new comedic spoof. With sound effects performed onstage by the actors and narration reminiscent of radio plays of the past, audiences are transported to an electrifying world of masterful storytelling as Frankenstein: The 3D Podcast takes center stage.  The show’s final performance is October 14.

The Fall Play Series also features two critically acclaimed one-man shows that have entertained people all over the globe. For one night only, get to know the most infamous playwright of all time as Nicholas Collett takes on the persona of William Shakespeare in Your Bard on Thursday, October 12. Buckle up for the adventure of a lifetime as Gavin Robertson takes REP audiences on an epic spy comedy with Agent 007 in Bond: An Unauthorized Parody on Friday, October 13.

Gavin Robertson and Nicholas Collett are an iconic duo who have been wowing audiences in Seaside with their compelling storytelling since making their REP debut in early 2016 with Escape To Create. Their shows have enthralled audiences and garnered rave reviews with their original writing and high-quality performances. “The production of the Fall Play Series speaks to the ongoing impact the collaboration between The REP, E2C, and our loyal audiences and sponsors have made on the community,” said Brook Stetler, Executive Director of The REP Theatre.
