Scallywag Sundays: Watch as featured pirate Captain Davy takes you on an adventure with two magic shows on stage at 7 and 8 p.m. Movie Mondays: A free to attend event, grab a lawn chair or blanket and cozy up on the Events Plaza Lawn for a featured film on the big screen at 8 p.m. Boomin’ Tuesdays: Baytowne lights up the night with fireworks over the lagoon at 9:15 p.m. Before the show, enjoy a dance party starting at 7:15 p.m. with DJ Mike Whitty in the Events Plaza. ECTC Children’s Theater at Seaside Mondays
Step into a world of magic, mischief, and moonlit romance as Emerald Coast Theatre Company presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream in a family-friendly adaptation at the SEASIDE Amphitheater. Beginning at 6 p.m. Mondays through August 3, bring a blanket and enjoy dinner from any of Seaside’s delicious eateries. This joyful retelling of Shakespeare’s beloved comedy brings love, laughter, and live theatre to Central Square. It’s an enchanting experience for audiences of all ages.
Huck & Lilly @ Seaside Ampitheatre Tuesdays and Thursdays
Huck & Lilly will perform LIVE in the Seaside Amphitheater Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-5:45 p.m. Bring a chair or blanket, snacks and drinks, and enjoy the show. Free and open to all ages. Singer/songwriters Ken Johnson and Andi Zack-Johnson, as Huck and Lilly, specialize in music for kids AND the grown-ups who love them!
Wild Sea Turtle Wednesdays at The Big Chill 30A
It’s all about turtles every Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. at The Big Chill 30A! Join the South Walton Turtle Watch to learn about wild sea turtles and how to help protect them. Talks will begin promptly at 9 & 10 and last about 10 minutes. Children attending will receive a complimentary string backpack filled with goodies while supplies last! You can paint a wooden sea turtle to take home or get a new South Walton Turtle Watch bracelet from the merchandise table supporting local conservation efforts.
Guided Plant Tour at Topsail State Park July 20
Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and Master Gardener Bill Kuenstler on the third Monday of each month from 9-11 a.m. for a Guided Plant Stroll. The stroll begins at Tram Stop #2. This program is free with regular park admission.

Grit and Grace: Holding Our Own

Paper Bear Screening at Seaside July 24
The Paper Bear invites the community on a heartfelt journey into the forests and coastal wilds of Northwest Florida at 7:30 p.m. Blending live-action storytelling with hand-drawn animation, the film follows a father and son as they venture into the woods to document real Florida black bears, sharing campfire stories, local history, and the magic of the natural world along the way. Pensacola Beach Airshow: U.S. Navy Blue Angels July 18
Casino Beach is the show center offering the best views and where all the big maneuvers will be performed. Flight demonstrations and civilian aerobatic performances begin at approximately 10:30 a.m., with the Blue Angels overhead at 2 p.m. The show highlights Pensacola hometown heroes — the Blue Angels — the U. S. Navy’s flight demonstration squadron stationed at Forrest Sherman Field aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola. The Blues hold several practice sessions along the beach in the days leading up to the big event on show day.

Join the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center from 5 to 7 p.m. for a Creature Feature, an exciting opportunity to explore wildlife and practice Biophilia. This event is free to attend, donations are always appreciated. Bring blankets, pillows, and wear comfy clothes for a showing in the indoor theater.
