One of the latest is Bless Your Pawz, a new luxury mobile dog grooming business, offering convenient, stress-free grooming services for your dog in your own driveway.
Owner, Pamela Hewins area of focus is South Walton, from Seagrove to Miramar Beach. The grooming van is a 2016 Mercedes Benz Sprinter completely equipped with the latest technology.
A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Pamela first visited the Gulf Coast in 1998. “When I visited Grayton Beach and Seaside for the first time, I fell in love with the tranquil blue-green ocean, sugar-white beaches and friendly towns. On my first visit I knew this was the place, and began making plans to relocate to the Emerald Coast,” she said.
Mobile grooming during tourist season
“As our area continues to grow, so has the traffic,” says Pamela. “It’s difficult to get around town at certain times of the day or year. Especially when you’re on vacation, you just want to relax and shop close to where you’re staying,” says Pamela. “We’re a dog-friendly community. Everywhere you look, people are bringing their dogs with them to share in the same activities they do, often decked out in cute apparel and rolled around in strollers. The pavement does get quite hot in the summer and while it may seem like a novelty, I’m sure strollers save their paws from being burned. Our dogs are part of our family, so we naturally want to provide them with the best care.”
