Meeting Includes Tablescapes, Master Gardener Presentation and Much More

The October meeting of Green Thumb Garden Club (GTGC) is promising to provide education and inspiration for members and guests. A Walton County master gardener will provide an educational winter season presentation for yard, flower bed and garden preparation. Talented GTGC members will showcase holiday-themed tablescapes for ideas and inspiration.
A members-only Holiday Bazaar pre-sale will allow attendees to purchase fabulous items including handmade greeting cards, décor, and beautiful crafts. The October 18, 2023, meeting is at the Westwinds Conference Center in Miramar Beach, Florida. It starts with check-in at 9 a.m. and a catered lunch is included in the $30 fee per attendee.
The third annual GTGC Holiday Bazaar is on November 4, 2023, in the Cantina Laredo rear meeting room and on the enclosed outdoor patio. Bazaar hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The past two year’s bazaars have been sellouts so be sure to save the date and come early for the best selection.
The Holiday Bazaar is the Club’s primary scholarship fundraiser. In 2023, GTGC awarded $5,000. In scholarships to outstanding Walton County students and the Club’s goal is to increase that amount in 2024.
The Green Thumb Garden Club welcomes new members.
