Ranger Led Hike at Eden Gardens State Park Sept. 1
Meet up on the paver block pad at 10 a.m., adjacent to the screened-in pavilion. The hike will meander through two distinct natural communities, Xeric Hammock and Floodplain Swamp. A ranger will share information about the flora and fauna found throughout the park and specific to the natural communities being hiked through. The event is free with paid park entry fee.

14th Annual Fore Her Golf Outing Sept. 25
Golfers of every skill level are invited to think pink and hit the Links Golf Club at Sandestin for a great local cause. Presented by Emerald Coast Hospice Care, the outing includes a Bloody Mary Bar from Ruby Slipper Cafe, breakfast from Chick-fil-A, 18 holes of golf, the popular “Dress Like a Lady Hole,” food at the turn and an after-party featuring lunch, music, prizes, giveaways and raffle drawings. Funds raised help Fore Her offset living expenses for local breast cancer patients undergoing treatment along the Emerald Coast.

Destin Seafood Festival Sept. 25-27
The Destin Seafood Festival returns for its 48th year, transforming the Destin Harbor into a mile-long celebration of fresh Gulf seafood, live music and coastal culture.
