Kicking off a great year of interesting educational programs is a presentation on the basics of happy houseplants. The Garden at Peach Creek will share advice on how to select the right houseplants for indoor spaces based on light requirements as well as watering and other care. The Garden at Peach Creek is a local Walton County business and we are very excited to have them present to GTGC.
The meeting is at the Westwinds Conference Center at Sandestin, 4700 Westwinds Drive, Miramar Beach, FL 32550 on September 17, 2025. The check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. and the meeting starts at 10:00 a.m. Attendees will have lunch, which is included in the $30 event fee.
A local florist will be presenting at the October meeting along with the annual members-only bazaar presale. Members will have an opportunity to view and purchase handcrafted trees, wreaths, garlands and other items at the presale. Non-perishable food items and gift cards for the upcoming holidays will also be collected to benefit Caring & Sharing of South Walton’s food pantry assistance program. The meeting is on October 15, 2025, at Westwinds Conference Center.
GTGC’s largest scholarship fundraiser, the fifth annual Holiday Bazaar, is on November 15, 2025, at Cantina Laredo Grand Boulevard in their rear meeting room and the enclosed outdoor patio. Bazaar hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Past year’s events sold out, so be sure to save the date and come early for the best selection.
