New Life Church is excited to announce the launch of Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, addiction, or destructive habits of any kind. The program will officially begin on Friday, August 8 at 5:30 p.m. at New Life Church, located at 120 Kingdom Way in Santa Rosa Beach.
Celebrate Recovery offers a welcoming, confidential, and judgment-free environment where individuals can find healing and restoration through the power of Jesus Christ. Unlike traditional recovery groups, Celebrate Recovery addresses a wide range of life issues—from substance abuse and codependency to anxiety, depression, grief, and more.
“We’re thrilled to bring this transformative ministry to our community,” said Pastor Shawn Baker, Lead Pastor of New Life Church. “Everyone is recovering from something, and Celebrate Recovery offers a path to healing that’s rooted in grace, truth, and real-life change.”
Celebrate Recovery was founded in 1991 at Saddleback Church in California and has since expanded to over 35,000 churches worldwide. The program is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory, making it a unique and spiritually grounded approach to recovery.
Each Friday evening gathering will begin with large-group worship and teaching, followed by gender-specific small groups where participants can share their struggles and victories in a confidential setting. Childcare will be provided, but must be indicated when registering for the gathering by scanning the QR Code!
The program is open to everyone in the community—whether they attend New Life Church, another church, or no church at all. There is no cost to participate. Simply come as you are!
