AerOhana, a leading educational institution fostering innovation and excellence in  aerospace technologies, proudly announces the outstanding achievements of its  seniors in the field of rocketry. As part of their Aerospace Technologies and Physics  classes, these talented students embarked on a journey to build high-powered  rockets (HPR) and pursue their National Association of Rocketry (NAR) HPR Level 1  certification.

In a remarkable display of skill and determination. Ohana Institute seniors Elena  Mannion, Oliver Herrington, Coltin Reeves, Smith Reaves, and Ty Rettinger, along with  Ohana Junior Skyler Aki, recently traveled to Samson, Alabama to put their creations  to the test. Under the guidance of their mentors Mr. Mike Sturdivant, Dr. Jesse Lard,  Mr. Chad Thurman and AerOhana’s dedicated team, these students successfully  constructed, launched, and recovered their rockets with aplomb. These seniors will be studying aerospace and mechanical engineering at University of Florida, the  University of Alabama, and the University of Miami in the fall.
