The Tenth Annual “Tea Fore Her” fundraiser, hosted by Fore Her organization will occur Sunday, March 10, at noon, at The Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa. This lively springtime event offers an opportunity to gather with friends and enjoy an afternoon of tea while raising funds to support breast cancer patients along the Emerald Coast. Fore Her is a nonprofit organization offering financial assistance, resources, hope, compassion, and education for all who are affected by breast cancer.
This year’s tea will include a complimentary welcome beverage, plated lunch, live music by Mari Gleason, a silent auction, a wine pull, a photo booth… and of course tea! Traditionally, guests are encouraged to don fancy hats for a chance to win the coveted “Best Hat” prize, although hats are not required.
During the seated luncheon, guests will enjoy an inspiring talk from breast cancer survivor Alison Nazarowski, who will share her hopeful journey. “I am so fortunate to be a survivor of this disease, and as such am proud to give back to Fore Her with my time and resources,” says Alison Nazarowski, Tea Fore Her Keynote Speaker and Attorney with Voxtur Settlement Services, LLC. “This organization does so much to help women in our community whether it’s through financial assistance or their support groups. I am proud to share my story at this year’s Tea in hopes that it will resonate and impact the lives of our local community.”
“It’s remarkable to think of all of the good work that Fore Her has accomplished with this special event over the past 10 years to help breast cancer patients in our area,” says Ginny Richerson, Fore Her Patient Liaison, Board Member, and Breast Cancer Survivor. “We also love that this event offers a unique opportunity for breast cancer patients, survivors, their friends, and families to come together and connect over shared experiences.”
Tickets are $65 per person and tables for eight guests are also available for purchase at www.foreher.org. A discounted ticket of $60 per person will be available for breast cancer survivors.
