The Friends of Eden Gardens announce the return of the Fall Film Series, a series of family-friendly, spooky, classic films played on an outdoor screen under the oak trees at Eden Gardens State Park. The Witches are set to ride in the 22nd Annual Witch Ride this October! Every year, the Witches decorate bikes and fly throughout their communities. Harbor Docks Take a Kid Fishing Day Nov. 2
Some 300 children will be treated to a day of fishing on the Gulf of Mexico or Choctawhatchee Bay. Each child – and their chaperone – are served breakfast before boarding one of Destin’s finest charter boats for a morning of fishing. Upon return, the day is celebrated with a fish fry lunch, and every child is sent home with a t-shirt and their own rod and reel. This is for children from 7 to 13 years old.
