The last two meetings of the 2025/2026 GTGC year will wrap up an unprecedented year of member patronage, community involvement, educational presentations and significant donations to Walton County students and organizations.
April’s member meeting is on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Westwinds Conference Center, 4700 Westwinds Drivein Miramar Beach. The program will focus on the Farm-to-Table social movement, emphasizing sourcing food directly from local farms and producers to ensure freshness, sustainability, and support for local communities. There will be a Bake Sale with proceeds benefitting scholarships and other GTGC charities. Members are asked to bring their favorite sweets to support the effort. The Meeting cost is $30, and includes lunch. Check-in time is 9:30 a.m.

The not-to-be-missed May 20 member meeting is in the Pavilion at Eden Gardens State Park. Members and guests will experience a live butterfly exhibit and presentation plus receive an update on Eden’s Butterfly Garden restoration supported by Friends of Eden Garden, Florida Federation of Garden Clubs and Green Thumb Garden Club. A tour will be offered to anyone interested. Scholarships will be awarded to very deserving Walton County college students, 4-H Camp Timpoochee, E.O. Wilson Naturalist Outdoor Camp and Westonwood Ranch. 2026/2027 Green Thumb Officers will be inducted. Meeting cost is $30, and includes lunch. Check-in time is 9:30 a.m.
