If you haven’t checked out “Redd the Singing Bartender” you are in for a treat and a truly 30A local expeience! Helen Redd entertains at Redd’s Fueling Station in Blue Mountain Beach with a mix of 400 songs you choose – come out for cocktails and song. Redd is a singer/entertainer and also busy with her restaurant and bar with husband Paul.
Come enjoy the experience and stay for dinner. Catch Redd singing and slinging every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday night. “I got my start by bugging whatever band is performing at local bars and finally had the nerve to say, ‘I can do this.’ I really enjoy performing live and would love to get back into musical theater. Especially after doing Honky Tonk Angels at the Seaside REP Theatre. I moved to Santa Rosa Beach after a visit to The Red Bar in 2001.”
Wednesday night is open Mic, and Friday night features live music with guest artists. Redd’s is open Tue-Sat from 5 til 11 pm behind Sally’s by the Sea Store in Blue Mountain Beach. Groups are encouraged to call ahead for reservations of 4 or more for dinner: 850-325-0252.
