On Tuesday, July 23rd, Seaside Chapel will host a special forum on the Rise of Anti-Semitism, beginning with a reception at 6pm and a discussion lead by Dr. Dan Leshem at 7pm. Dr. Leshem is currently the director of Hillel at FSU which is home to 4,000 Jewish students. He is a Holocaust scholar who prior to coming to FSU was Executive Director of the Kupferberg Holocaust Center at Queensborough Community College in Queens, New York. He also served as Associate Director for Research of the Shoah Foundation at USC, Los Angeles. From 2006 to 2010, Dr. Leshem was Resource Manager for the Holocaust Denial on trial at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, archiving the Holocaust Denial libel suit in England which was later dramatized in the film Denial. Admission is free and open to everyone no matter their religious (or non-religious) beliefs.
