Baytowne Wharf: Autos in August

Saturday, August 13, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
Calling all Muscle Cars, Jeeps, Vettes, 4x4s, Exotics, and Imports! Join The Village of Baytowne Wharf and Emerald Coast Customs on Saturday, August 13th from 11AM – 3PM for Autos in August. Enjoy a day of fun, sun, and cars! Visitors are welcome to walk around The Village of Baytowne Wharf and look at the cars PLUS enter raffles and win FREE prizes. Registration limit is 100 cars. First come first serve. Vehicle registration includes a FREE Emerald Coast Customs T-shirt. Pre Entry Fee is $15 per vehicle and $25 after August 1st. Sounds of SEASIDE: Fred Domulot Band

Topsail Hill Preserve State Park: Guided Plant Stroll

Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and Master Gardener Bill Kuenstler on the third Monday each month from 9:00a.m. – 11:00a.m for a Guided Plant Stroll. Take a stroll through the park and the campground to explore the plants visible and to see what is in bloom. Visitors will learn about some of the plant species here at the park. Topics for the hike will vary based on the time of year and growing season. The program is on the third Monday of the month. This program is free with regular park admission. 7525 W. Turtle Talk Tuesday

Join South Walton Turtle Watch on Tuesday mornings in the park across from Amavida in Rosemary Beach for Turtle Talk Tuesday. The first talk is at 9AM and the second at 9:30AM. Learn about sea turtles, paint, and adopt a hatchling! Grab a coffee at event co-host Amavida Coffee Roasters while the kids take their Jr. Ocean Ranger pledge to help keep our beaches clean, dark and flat for nesting sea turtles and baby hatchlings! RUN/SUP: Guided Kayak Tour

Explore Western Lake with RUN/SUP on a Guided Kayak Tour every Wednesday at 9:30AM, launching from The Boathouse in Watercolor. Join Molly for an approximately ninety minute adventure throughout one of 30A’s beautiful coastal dune lakes. Space is limited, sign-up in advance at runsup.com/classes/. You will paddle smooth, calm waters in a kayak at a relaxing pace. In addition to searching out wildlife, you’ll learn all about coastal dune lakes, the famous stash pines, Grayton Beach State Park, Watercolor, 30A history and fun facts, and much more. Camp Helen State Park invites the public out for a guided Nature Tour held each first Thursday of the month at 10am. Tour begins at the Visitor Center. Come out to learn about the rare coastal dune lake, Lake Powell, as well as the park wildlife. Hike is suitable for all ages. This Labor Day Weekend Join The Village of Baytowne Wharf for Perfect Hues: Baytowne Art & Food Fest, September 2nd – September 4th. Each evening from 5pm-10pm, stroll The Village streets as you browse a variety of artwork from local and regional artists, and savor bites from some of the area’s best restaurants and food trucks.
