The Green Thumb Garden Club is inviting members and Walton County residents interested in gardening and horticulture to join them for their first meeting of the 2021/2022 year on September 15th. The highlights of the meeting will be a preview of the new GTGC website that is launching in mid-September and an update on the educational and fun monthly activities that are being planned for the year. Members and potential members can sign up for committees and other volunteer opportunities at the meeting.
Garden club members and master gardeners will be on hand to answer design questions and plant care. The meeting location is Cantina Laredo in Grand Boulevard, Miramar Beach, FL. The meeting starts a 9:45 am (doors open at 8:45 am) followed by lunch. The meeting and lunch donation is $25. with net proceeds going to support local charities. Reservations are required. The GTGC has over 100 members and its mission for over six decades has been the on-going beautification of Walton County. Green Thumb Garden Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and a member of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs and the National Garden Club Deep South Region. New members are always welcome into the Green Thumb Garden Club.
