The September meeting of Green Thumb Garden Club (GTGC) will have attendees creating a variety of holiday items that will be available for sale at their November Holiday Bazaar. The planning committee will provide all the materials needed for our talented, creative members to make items for the Bazaar. The Holiday Bazaar is the Club’s primary scholarship fundraiser. In 2023, GTGC awarded $5,000 in scholarships to outstanding Walton County students and the Club’s goal is to increase that amount in 2024.
A special GTGC members-only pre-sale will provide a sneak peek of some of the fabulous bazaar items. The September 20, 2023, meeting is at the Westwinds Conference Center in Miramar Beach, Florida. It starts with check-in at 9 a.m. and lunch is included in the $30 fee per attendee.
The third annual GTGC Holiday Bazaar is on November 4, 2023, in the Cantina Laredo rear meeting room and on the enclosed outdoor patio. Bazaar hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The past two year’s events have been sellouts so be sure to save the date and come early for the best selection.
The Green Thumb Garden Club welcomes new members.
