The Green Thumb Garden Club (GTGC) new season is starting off strong with socials, committee volunteer signups and meetings.  Plans are being finalized for a great year for members and the Walton County charities it supports.  A July summer social brought many current and new members out for games, good food and an overall fun time.

The first general membership meeting of the year is scheduled for September 21, 2022, at the Westwinds Conference Center, 4700 Westwinds Drive, Miramar Beach, FL.  The meeting begins at 9:30 am, concludes with lunch and the cost is $25.00 per person.  The September meeting is very popular as members reconnect and share stories about their travels and adventures over the long, hot summer as well as welcome new members.

Attendees will also learn about the exciting programs planned for the year including the scholarships and charities the Club will support through the generosity of its members and fundraising events.

Planned events already include a tour of the Southern Grace Lavender Farm in October and the second annual Holiday Bazaar fundraiser at Cantina Laredo Grand Boulevard in November.  Additional program and event information will be shared at the September event.

The Green Thumb Garden Club welcomes new members.  The GTGC website  www.greenthumbgardenclubinc.org contains detailed information about how to join the Club, support its charitable mission and details on meetings, activities, and events.
