Walton County Emergency Management Welcomes New Logistics Coordinator, Wanya Goodgain
Walton County Emergency Management is thrilled to announce the selection of Wanya Goodgain as the department’s new Logistics Coordinator. Wanya joins the team from Calera, Alabama, bringing a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our department.
Wanya is a recent graduate from Jacksonville State University, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Management with minors in Homeland Security and Cyber Security. Serving as a Communications Officer and former American Red Cross volunteer, he understands the importance of partner collaboration, information management, and successful decision making in stressful situations.
“I was drawn to the Emergency Management field by its unique ability to serve local communities following a disaster,” said Wanya Goodgain. “I am honored to serve as the Logistics Coordinator for the department and look forward to learning from some of the industry’s leading professionals.”
Wanya’s comprehensive knowledge and commitment to emergency management make him a valuable addition to Walton County Emergency Management. We look forward to the positive impact he will bring to our community as we continue to enhance our disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
