South Walton Fire District will host its annual Pancake Breakfast on October 7 and invites the community to attend and enjoy $5 all-you-can-eat pancakes, as well as celebrate the start of Fire Prevention Week.
Family-friendly activities will be available, such as face painting, a photo booth, fire engine tours, a kids’ firefighter combat challenge, and a bounce house.
The proceeds collected at the event benefit SWFD Fire Prevention programs and materials, which SWFD uses throughout the year to educate the public and provide items like free smoke alarms to the community.
The event will be held at 911 N. County Highway 393, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Several birthday-themed surprises are planned to concurrently celebrate the agency’s 40th anniversary at this year’s event. Questions about the event can be directed to info@swfd.org.
