Biophilia Center Kids Craft Day Jan. 17

Join the Biophilia Center for a joyful celebration of art and imagination at Kids Craft Day from 9 a.m. to noon. Young artists will get hands-on with three fun, kid-friendly crafts, all guided by talented local artists. This event is designed for children ages 2-12, and each child must be accompanied by an adult. While adults won’t receive their own craft supplies, they’re encouraged to help and cheer on their little creators as they bring their artwork to life. Hops For Hounds Jan. 18

Get ready to grab your leash and raise a glass! Dog-Harmony announced the sixth annual Hops for Hounds dog walk and after party, happening from 1 to 3 p.m. at Props Brewery in Hammock Bay in Freeport. This paw-some event promises fun, furry friends, and craft beer for humans 21 and older. The day kicks off with a scenic, short stroll, followed by a lively after-party at Props Brewery featuring craft beer, live music, vendors, food trucks, and more. Habitat for Humanity Pup-Up Benefit Jan. 24

Join Habitat for Humanity for the first-ever Pup-Up supporting their friends at Road Dogg Rescue. Beginning at 10 a.m. on January 25th, head to the Habitat Restore in Santa Rosa Beach to support your local furry friends.

Join the Biophilia Center for a fun and inspiring celebration of art as you tap into your creative side! An adults-only event (18+), Sips at Scenes begins at 11 a.m. This experience features a guided craft led by a talented local artist. A Biophilia Animal Ambassador will make a special appearance during the activity to spark creativity and help inspire your masterpiece. An additional up-close animal encounter is also available as an add-on with your ticket. Guests must be 21 or older to enjoy alcoholic beverages. Nick’s Seafood Annual Bonfire Feb. 7

They’ll be firing up the biggest bonfire in the county and throwing the kind of party only Nick’s can get away starting at 5 p.m. DJ Viper opens and closes, and the Velcro Pygmies are rolling in to crank the night into full rock-and-roll mode. There will be food service inside of the restaurant, an ATM, and a cash bar located on premises. Additional parking will be located west of the restaurant. Expect big fire, loud music, cold drinks, and a lot of good-natured coastal debauchery on the bay. Bring your crew. Bring your stories. Leave the quiet nights at home.

DCWAF Annual Galentine’s Fundraiser Feb. 7

DCWAF’s Galentine’s Day Fundraiser is turning five, and we’re going all out to honor the queens in our community that come together to give back! Hosted in Destin at the home of Candis Wilson, Galentine’s brings influential women in the community together to support one another while raising money for programs designed to empower young girls through DCWAF’s 16 partner children’s charities and beyond. All individuals and businesses affiliated with the production of this event are female owned and operated.  The cards have been dealt, and every Queen deserves her moment during this fun day of giving.

Habitat Walton County invites you to join them at the annual Hard Hats & High Heels, a women’s empowerment luncheon bringing together a cross-section of the Emerald Coast’s professional, social, and philanthropic leaders. The Hard Hats & High Heels Luncheon takes place at The Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Destin Charity Wine Auction Turns 21 and Goes Wild for Kids April 24-25

The 21st Annual Destin Charity Wine Auction presented by the Jumonville Family is set for April 24–25, 2026. Proceeds from the annual auction benefit children in need across Northwest Florida through Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation’s (DCWAF) 16 partner children’s charities. In 2025, the foundation donated $3.1 million following one of its most successful auctions to date.

A limited number of patron packages can be purchased starting Jan. 12 at dcwaf.org/tickets. Sponsorship opportunities are also available by contacting DCWAF at info@dcwaf.org.

The 2026 auction will feature an impressive lineup of celebrity chefs and internationally renowned vintners. Confirmed vintners include owners and winemakers from Allegrini, Cardinale and Lokoya, Domaine de la Clos Chapelle, Dossier, Doubleback, Forman, Jarvis Estate, Phifer Pavitt, Aaron Pott Wines, Revana Wine Portfolio, Thompson 31Fifty, VGS Chateau Potelle and more.

The weekend begins Friday, April 24, with the signature patron dinner experience, hosted in private homes and premier restaurants across the Emerald Coast. Each dinner pairs a nationally recognized chef with world-class vintners.

The main event, the Destin Charity Wine Auction, begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 25, with the Reserve Tasting and Live Auction held under an air-conditioned tent at Grand Boulevard Sandestin Town Center. Guests will enjoy exceptional wines paired with cuisine from top local restaurants before a high-energy live auction featuring rare wines, luxury trips and one-of-a-kind items.

The Destin Charity Wine Auction is held in conjunction with the South Walton Beaches Wine and Food Festival, also taking place at Grand Boulevard the same weekend. The festival showcases hundreds of premium wines, spirits and culinary offerings, with proceeds benefiting DCWAF. More participating chefs and vintners will be announced in the coming months.
